Euroweekend 2005 Belgium

First of all our best wishes to all of you and your families. We wish you a healthy and prosperous 2005.
As you know, 2005 is the year of the Euromeeting in Asse.
Therefore we would like to invite you to Belgium.
The programme is :
Thursday 23 june :
"Meet and greet"
arrivals and transfer from airports to central location
This will take place at castle Diepensteyn in Steenhuffel, next to the Palm brewery.
In the afternoon (for those that have arrived already) visit of the draught-horse stud farm
Afterwards you can take a seat on a two-horse or four-horse carriage.
This is followed by the welcome barbecue
In the evening : transfer to the host families.
Friday 24 june
"Sports at the beach"
We take you to Ostend, a nice city at the Belgian coast and stay there all day.
Fun, relaxing, sports and (if the weather permits) enjoying the sun, are the key words of this day.
The sports competition will take place on friday this time !
in the evening we come back to the host families for the homeparties.
Saturday 25 june
"Brussels"
We go on a short city trip to the 'capital of Europe'.
While the men have the official meeting, the wives can go shopping or sightseeing.
After a short meal we continue the visit of Brussels together.
In the evening we have the Grand Ball with cabaret (sketches) in "kasteel Waalborre" in Asse.
Sunday 26 june
"Farewell..."
Farewell brunch at Leo's place
As you can see, we had to make some changes to the meanwhile 'traditional schedule'. The sports competition is now on friday and we have no common party on friday evening. We added some activity for those who arrive early on thursday. This is done for organisational reasons and because we think the homeparties are an important part of the Euromeeting.
Anyhow, we promise you an unforgettable weekend !

We would greatly appreciate if you could send a digital picture as well because we will make a picture-book of ALL the partcipants (JPEG file format preferred)

I would also like to know who is the responsible person in each country for the Euromeeting. This makes communication easier and by reacting we're certain that every country got at least one e-mail.
